About Sprint Race
Sprint Race is a Brazilian racing series launched in 2012. It was designed to provide balanced racing with reduced costs. A single manufacturer takes care of the whole grid of cars.
The series is positioned between regional tournaments and major championships such as Stock Car Brasil.
Sprint Race cars are pure race cars with high level of safety. They are silhouettes with the driver positioned exactly in the center.
A new GT Sprint Race car was introduced in 2021, but this is not yet represented in Automobilista 2.
About the Car
Automobilista 2 represents the previous generation Sprint Race car which resembles a hatchback. Performance wise it is not up to the level of Stock Car Brasil. But it provides a straight forward racing experience with neutral rear-wheel drive handling.
